Antigua Sun: "Moderate morning showers have once again exposed the serious drainage problem that has been plaguing the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground (SVRCG).
The rains, which lasted approximately an hour, resulted in heavy flooding in the outfield, something that remains a bother for the cricket authorities in Antigua and Barbuda.
When the showers subsided at around 11 a.m., it took the ground staff the entire morning and some of the afternoon to get the ground ready for play at 3:30 p.m. Labouring with possibly the best available technology, the super-sopper or “water hog,” the staff members diligently conducted their duties without much success."
